Sooo…not all heroes wear capes! Enter Jamal Al Breiki, an Emirati chef who’s also secretly a dog whisperer. Rescuing stray dogs and cats along the way is basically his passion, and now others are joining in.

Al Breiki began his initiative by feeding leftover meals from hotels to stray animals. Abu Dhabi’s Fairmont Bab Al Bahr became the first to support his mission just last Friday and honestly, it’s safe to say it was a TOTAL success. They donated brunch leftovers to Cloud 9, a dog hotel and surgery practice, and defs made some furry friends super happy.

Now? Well, three other hotels are gonna join in – and soon! With so much growing awareness about food wastage across the Emirates and so many lovers of pets and pooches, there’s a long way for Al Breiki to go. 

And tbh, what a fab idea. He’s setting serious #goals for us to live upto, and teaching us so much along the way. After all, he’s probs getting the love of so many snouts and licks, it’s gotta be worth it.Â
