Netflix is coming to the Middle East! Yep, you read that right. Netflix has officially released the trailer to Jinn, its first Middle Eastern show. Jinn takes place in Amman and the ancient city of Petra. The story follows a group of high school friends who encounter 2 Jinns and invite them on a night out with them. The Jinns, 1 evil and 1 good cause trouble and turn the high schoolers’ trip on a different path then intended.
This thriller highlights how you don’t know who to trust and should always be vigilant of who you are hanging out with! The talented actors are set to step foot on our screens on June 13 (so close yet so far!) and the series will have five 40 minute long episodes.
The series was filmed in Arabic but Netflix plans to air it in 26 different languages! All I can say is that we’re excited to see it and its local Arab stars.
