If rapper-producer Laughta isn’t on your radar yet, she’s about to be.
Collab’ing with Saudi singer-songwriter Mohammed Alsahli, Laughta is officially declaring the summer vibes with her newest single, ‘Al Layla’. We 👏 can’t 👏 get 👏 enough.
British-Lebanese trailblazer Laughta is a music forced to be reckoned with. Self-taught in music production, she became the first woman to secure a weekly music producer residency with Serato and is the host of her own radio show, The Laughta Gas Show on London’s Reprezent 107.3FM.
Often in Saudi, she is known for collabs that connect cultures and genres and even had a residency at the Saudi Music Hub, where she worked with up-and-coming Saudi-based musicians, from hip-hop artists to producers, for songs and live performances as part of the initiative, organised by the Saudi Music Commission.
Now dropping ‘Al Layla’ worldwide, you’re about to hear Laughta’s name *everywhere*. It’s a certified summer anthem from a certified music queen.
