We’re sure you’re as tapped in as we are. The world of K-pop has seen a massive shift with one of the leading fourth-generation boy groups, ENHYPEN, as the oldest member, Lee Heeseung, officially bid his goodbyes to ENGENEs through Weverse.
News of his departure from the group was announced by the agency BELIFT LAB on March 10, 2026. Naturally, this sudden announcement sent the fandom into a frenzy (including us here at Cosmo ME). Fans across social media platforms have since been calling for his return. From signing petitions that have garnered over a million signatures to posting heartfelt notes urging him to come back (and honestly, we’re hoping for that too).
Since their debut on November 20, 2020, we’ve watched Heeseung – alongside the group Jungwon, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo, and Ni-ki – grow into the powerhouse performers we know today.
While details surrounding his departure remain up in the air, Cosmo ME (ICYDK, we are massive fans too) reached out to a slew of Dubai-based ENGENEs to show and share their appreciation for the talented singer as he sets his sights on a solo career with BELIFT LAB.
Known by many titles – the group’s all-rounder, ace, affectionately called “Heedeungie” and “Bambi” by fans, and hyung by his six younger brothers – Heeseung has long been a defining presence within ENHYPEN. And while this moment may feel bittersweet, ENGENEs in the UAE and the world continue to show support for his next move.
