Remember Rory? How could you not… He was the wholesome, holistic advice-giver that popped up in the first four episodes of Netflix’s new reality show Love is Blind. But have you wondered where he ended up? Several people on social media speculated that he was, in fact, one of the producers, but it turns out, he actually got engaged – it just never aired.
In fact, Rory Newbrough was one of two engagements that we never saw.

“We had actually more success on this show than we were even able to document,” Love is Blind creator and producer Chris Coelen told Entertainment Weekly. “As a producer I was kind of nervous like, is anybody actually gonna get engaged? Is anyone going to make it to the altar? And, in the end, we actually had more couples get engaged than we were able to follow on the show.”
Chris did not reveal the other couple who got engaged, but we do know that Rory Newbrough ended up proposing to Danielle Drouin, who only appeared in a few shots at the beginning of the series.
The couple sadly broke up shortly after leaving the pods, which is likely why they didn’t end up in Mexico with the rest of the gang.
