In case you haven’t already seen the most adorbs video Maram posted in celebration of her official wedding ceremony, we are here to breakdown the event for you!

Maram and her hubby, Chris Maalouf, met on a flight from Dubai to Lebanon back in December of 2016. They have been inseparable from the day they met and Chris surprised her with a proposal in December of 2018 in front of the Eiffel Tower in Paris.

The lovebirds were supposed to tie the knot in Lebanon in 2019, however due to the situation in Lebanon at the time, they were unable to do so. They rescheduled their marriage for April 2020 in the same city Chris popped the question, Paris, then COVID-19 hit. They had to reschedule again.

Maram and Chris finally legalized their marriage in Dubai on March 19th with an offical ceremony. They decided to stop delaying after three times and legalized their love while still respecting the safety measures imposed by the global pandemic.

Maram and Chris had this to say:

2020 was a tough year during which many things changed around the world, and it allowed everyone to appreciate the most important things in life, such as family and loved ones. Many couples, like us, had to delay their wedding plans and cancel ceremonies. But we believe that hope prevails and love always wins, which is why we decided that a wedding isn’t just about having a party, but it is about starting our life together as a married couple. We hope to encourage other people to do the same.”
