Last year’s 15th edition saw a record 170,000 fans visit Yas Marina Circuit worldwide, so organisation is key! Here’s your ultimate guide to navigating the F1 Abu Dhabi 2024 experience.

F1 Abu Dhabi 2024 Race Weekend

The Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix marks the 24th and final race of the 2024 Formula 1 season, taking place from December 5 to 8 at the Yas Marina Circuit. There are still two races taking place before the Abu Dhabi final, which will decide whether Max Verstappen or Lando Norris wins the championship.

The final race in Abu Dhabi promises a weekend packed with on-track excitement, including Formula 2 and Formula 4 UAE races. One of the biggest events in the Middle Eastern sporting calendar, this is a race weekend you won’t want to miss!

Accessing the Yas Marina Circuit is a breeze with seven access gates strategically located around the circuit. Shuttle buses ease transportation between entrances, ensuring seamless access to grandstands, the marina, hotels, Etihad Park (concert venue), and Ferrari World.

  • 11:05-11:50: Formula 2 – practice

Saturday 7th December

After-race concerts…

Cap off each exhilarating day with the Yasalam After-Race concerts, featuring a star-studded lineup including Teddy Swims and international DJ Peggy Gou opening the show on Thursday and pop-rock band Maroon 5 performing on Friday. Eminem headlines on Saturday whilst British rock band Muse takes centre stage on Sunday.

Gates will open at 6pm and the entertainment usually kicks off between 8.30pm – 9pm. Most headline acts will last between 90 and 120 minutes.

On the day:  

  • 18:00 Gates open  
  • 20:30 Concert starts 
  • 23:00 Concert ends 

Golden Circle upgrades ensure fast-track entry and the best seats in the house. These concerts transform Etihad Park into a full-blown celebration at the end of each race day.

You will need your F1 e-ticket to access the post-race concerts! Gates to the concerts normally open at 18:00, and the concerts finish by 23:00.

Don’t settle for plain food at F1 Abu Dhabi. You deserve to watch the race over Greek fine dining and the staple plate smashing.

Roka

London-born contemporary Japanese resto Roka will be providing on tap premium sushi and grilled dishes like Black Cod. It’s located in the West Grandstand so you’ll get unreal views of the circuit.

Nobu

Located on Deck At Two, devour flavour-packed Japanese cuisine with a view that’ll leave you feeling smug.

Hakkasan

Try exquisite Cantonese dishes designed especially for the F1 weekend at Hakkasan. You can try this at the Friday or Saturday brunch experience.

Fine dining and an after-party at Luna Lounge with DJ Eran, whose specialty is afro, house and Middle Eastern rhythms.
