After three (or more, depending on where you live) long, long months of winter, the sun is finally starting to shine again. The weather is warming up in that familiar, beautiful way that tells the world, “Hey! Summer is right around the corner and your annual bout of Seasonal Affective Disorder should be clearing up soon!” And isn’t that just so freaking great? Speaking on behalf of the world as a collective entity, we’re going to go ahead and say yes, yes it is.

This means it’s time to start packing up your sweaters (so long for now, anything made of wool or heavy fleece) and break out the three pillars of the S-triangle of summer wear: shorts, sandals, and sundresses. Sure, it’s also time for less fun things, like spring cleaning and increased societal pressure to shave your legs, but let’s try to stay focused on the positives here, shall we? The point is, the seasons are changing and there’s a lot to do and all of those things to do deserve a fancy, new, seasonally-appropriate soundtrack. If you don’t already have a full playlist of spring-themed songs loaded and ready to go in your Spotify library, though, fret not, because we got you. Below is a collection of songs that capture the spirit and overall vibe of spring. Enjoy.
