We have been watching Mr. Joe Goldberg (or should I say Jonathan Moore?) kill people for four seasons worth of television now on Netflix‘s You. If nothing else, the man is consistent. But at this point, it’s hard to keep track of who has been killed and who has been killed at the hands of Joe, specifically. Like in season 3, Love Quinn did her fair share of damage. We’re here to help you sort out who’s died and which bodies we can blame on Joe. Here’s the full list.
There are major spoilers ahead for You season 1-4, part 1. If you haven’t watched all the way through season 4, part 1, exit this post.
Season 1
Elijah

Elijah was killed before the events of season 1, and he was the one Candace cheated on Joe with. Obviously, in Joe’s world, that means he needs to die.
Benji

The very first death we actually see, chronologically, is Benji, Beck’s crappy maybe-boyfriend.
Peach Salinger

Peach knew entirely too much, so Joe tried to kill her not once, but twice. He succeeded the second time, obviously.
Ron

Admittedly one of the deaths I forgot about, this was the abusive boyfriend of Joe’s neighbor. Joe used to hang out with the kid who lived in that apartment, Paco.
Beck

Beck! We all knew Beck had to die, right? There was no way she was going to survive. This was definitely the biggest death of them all, because it sets the entire show up for season 2.
Season 2
This dude

I’m not even sure they gave this guy a name, but he’s the one who came to collect the money Will Bettelheim owed. When he attacked Joe, Joe killed him. As one does!!
Henderson
Netflix
Ah, yes, we’ll never forget the Roomba/blood vacuum incident that marked the end of Hendy’s sad, sad life. I hate to say this, but the guy had it coming.
Season 3
Ryan, Marienne’s ex
This one’s a bit random and frankly I couldn’t even find a picture of the Ryan character, but Joe killing him sets up season 4 nicely. Basically, Joe gets this guy out of the way so Marienne won’t be in the middle of a custody battle.
Love Quinn

I mean… there’s not much to say about this one. RIP, Love!
Some other people do die in season 3, but were killed by Love, so technically they don’t earn a spot on this list but they are Natalie and Gil, if you’re really keeping track.
Season 4
This is another season where many people die, but it’s different because Joe’s not the one killing them. In part 1, Joe is only responsible for killing one person. And it’s…
“Vic,” the bodyguard for these two:

Joe can’t just stop Joe-ing! The three other bodies of the season are Malcolm, Simon, and Gemma, but they’ve been killed by the “Eat the Rich Killer.”
Final count
That puts us at 11 people! For reference, the Golden State Killer’s body count is 13.
