If I had to summarise my staycay at one of the world’s first fashion-branded hotels, it’d be pure palatial opulence and the most grandiose rooms I ever did see. Palazzo Versace exudes refinery, from it’s elegant lounges and halls, to it’s curated live entertainment down at Q’s Bar (curently closed because of Covid, but trust us when we say you *need* to make a booking there as soon as it’s open).

The hotel captivates in a host of ways. Not to be missed is the hotel’s Friday brunch at Giardino. Free-flowing bubbly and Aperols, accompanied by a spread of daytime delicaries, from seafood to charcuterie boards to fresh salads. Roll straight outta this restaurant and onto a sun lounger by one of the three lagoon pools. The Medusa mosaic overlooks it all.

End the day with a dinner at Vanitas, where high-end Italian food meets unmatched service in the most pretty and polished of backdrops.

But it’s the suits that make this Dubai hotel one-of-a-kind.

You’ll be awed by the room’s richly decorated space and light fixtures. The litany of luxury includes the most plush of marble baths, and furnishings imbued with Versace Home silk pastel upholstery and the Medusa motif adorned on, well, just about anything and everything. The master bedroom’s floor-to-ceiling windows overlook the Dubai canal and the sprawling blacony offering almost panormic views of the property.

There is, of course, also a spa. Just in case your *actual* palace of a bedroom didn’t relax you enough, you can also unwind in one of their many treatment rooms, whether that be through a facial, a massage or a hammam

Thank you, Palazzo Versace, for truly teaching me the meaning of the word boujee. I’ll be back!
