Cinema lovers, gather round!
The King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture, a.k.a. Ithra, is hosting its 6th edition of the Saudi film festival in partnership with the Saudi Arabian Society for Culture and Arts (SASCA) and is supported by the Saudi film commission, which will start today and run until 6 September.
This is Saudi’s first virtual edition film festival and is the largest in the region, promising exciting workshops, panels, and competitions in attendance of special guest stars and cinema industry experts.
The Saudi Film Festival 2020 will allow professional filmmakers of Saudi’s rising cinema industry, including directors, playwrights, producers, actors, and more, to share their work with experts.
The festival will be live-streamed and accessible via Ithra’s platforms and social media: YouTube, Instagram Live, and Twitter.
We are looking forward to this edition and to what filmmakers got for the audience! Stay tuned.
