The highly-anticipated and beloved Miss Universe pageant is set to return to crown our new *queen*.
The beauty pageant, hosted by the Miss Universe Organization, is here in Dubai to share an exclusive announcement on October 7.
The 69th Miss Universe event was won by the gorgeous Miss Universe Mexico Andrea Meza, who is an advocate of women’s rights and works to end gender-based violence. The previous event took place in Florida and was hosted by popular American actor and TV personality Mario Lopez alongside Miss Universe 2012 Olivia Culpo.

“I am so honored to have been selected among the 73 other amazing women I stood with tonight,” said Meza. “It is a dream come true to wear the Miss Universe crown, and I hope to serve the world through my advocacy for equality in the year to come and beyond.”
