Instagram straight-up crashed on Tuesday night leaving millions of us hanging with no access to our beloved feed. It went down around 7pm in the UAE.
People from all over the world were hit with error messages left and right and it’s wasn’t just IG on pause as Facebook also went ghost.
Luckily things are all back to normal now but at the time Twitter was blowing up with complaints and memes, ’cause where else do you go when Insta goes MIA, am I right?
One X user penned: “#Instagram & #Facebook down in #dubai…how is it everywhere???”
Another added: “Facebook started Instagram still not working in uae”.
More chimed in with: “I thought my Facebook and Instagram has been hacked until I get to X and saw it’s trending” and “In Dubai also Facebook and Instagram issue feed not loading.”
Meta Platforms Inc., acknowledged the mess on Twitter, saying they’re trying to fix it. But we still don’t know what caused it. Some say it’s tech glitches, others think it’s hackers…
