Los Angeles is absolutely brimming with getaways just as individual as the city’s neighbourhoods, and this West Hollywood hideaway is just about as quirky and cool as they come. Hotel Ziggy is a music-centric boutique whose entire MO is rock n’ roll.

From the moment you enter, a carefully curated concoction of framed retro records and vinyls adorn the walls. The lobby is a veritable hub of creativity that encompasses music, film, arts, fashion, food, and design. Funky hotel bar? Check. Artisanal eatery slash pizza joint? Yup. Handcrafted furniture that works together to create a feel that sets it apart from big-name brand hotels? It’s here. There’s even a “Shred Shed” where you can borrow guitars to jam.
Located on the famous Sunset Strip, this boutique hotel offers the largest and only saltwater pool in West Hollywood, which often plays host to some of the city’s hottest pool parties in the evenings. The pool area is also imbued with Insta-friendly graffiti murals and mirrors to capture that perfect #ootd.
The rooms? Eclectic, quirky, and bursting with even more musical references. But should you decide it’s worth leaving your bed, you’re a stone’s-throw away from the biggest attractions in LA, from the Hollywood Walk of Fame to the renowned Runyon Canyon Hike.
Make no mistake, all of the eccentricity of Hotel Ziggy doesn’t detract from its substance. There’s a 24-hour front desk, so you can go to all things late-night and vibrant in the city and not have to worry about being without your lovely bed, which is good peace of mind. And if all that hasn’t quite convinced, we’re just going to leave this last nugget of information here: it’s pet friendly, too.
