She is the Minister of State for Advanced Sciences in the UAE Government.Sarah was the leading FEMALE scientist, who led the UAE’s Hope Probe mission to Mars. (We love a little female empowerment)


Aya is only 22 years old and has literally set the bar (sky) high. Not only is she a tech master but she is also current a PhD student and a philanthropist! She is the defintion of a STEM Queen.

Halima Alnaqbi
Halima is currently a PhD student at Khalifa University. She is studying to create a chip that helps early diagnosis of thyroid cancer, specifically for Arab diagnosis… Now if this doesn’t make you want to join STEM, then I don’t know what will!

Mary is a professional gamer and is the number one female Fortnite player in the MENA Region… She is literally the definition of a gamer girl!

Fatma Hussain Lootah
Fatma was part of the Mars Probe Mission (which we all saw on Tuesday 9) and was the instrument science team manager for the mission… this is definitely something to be proud of!

Huda and is a sustainability activist, who is currently studying Plastic Electronics at Imperial College London. She is very passionate in her pursuit of a renewable energy that will save the planet… we love a queen who is passionate about saving the planet!

Dr. Dionysia Angeliki Lyra
Dr. Lyra was named as one of 140 global innovators within Expo Live, Expo 2020’s global innovation and partnership programme.which is definitely a great accomplishment. She is also very keen on sustainablity and has a vision to develop nutritious food products.

Dana Salloum is the Communications Director for Boeing for the METIA region. Women in aviation is still sadly such a new concept in the Middle East, and we need more leading women like Dana!

Fatma Ibrahim
She is the assistant Manager for Expo Live, Expo 2020’s global innovation and partnership programme that supports projects with creative solutions to pressing challenges, helping to improve people’s lives or preserve the planet.
