Man, napping babies are the best. They’re so cute and squishy when they’re not crying or doing anything stressful. It’s just peaceful.

Photographer Laura Izumikawa felt the same way about her now-4-month-old daughter, Joey Marie Choi. “I would end up just staring at her face all day and night because I was just so in love,” Izumikawa told the Huffington Post. “Because Joey slept so deeply, I thought it’d be fun adding little props on her just to send some hilarious pictures to our parents. It was a way to memorialise her growth and little milestones.”

The propping started with a bagel, and morphed into a movie studio’s worth of costumes and props that are so good that Joey’s already had several dozen amazing Halloweens, and she hasn’t even been awake for any of it.

Izumikawa said that she’s received a lot of positive messages from other parents who love seeing Joey’s latest look. “I hope that these photos and videos will make people smile and also remind parents to have fun with their kids and not get too caught up in the seriousness of parenting,” she said.

Here’s a look at some of Joey’s greatest naps/costumes:
