Hello Diva, this is Agent 0001 speaking. Do you copy? We’re dispatching you on a top-secret mission under the file name “Shut that stupid laptop right now.”
Ehem – what we meant to say is: we found the best things to do on the weekends in April. So, if you’re still looking for some extra plans (perhaps you had none in the first place, dw), we’ve got everything catalogued in an itinerary style for you.
From beach days and running clubs to dinners and anti-rotting activities, these are the best things to do in Dubai on the weekends.
Pass by Akhu Manoushe for Breakfast
The beloved mum and pop shop has sadly announced they’re closing their doors by the end of April 💔. The close-knit family have let their community know that this isn’t goodbye, though, which is reassuring! This can only mean one thing, and one thing only: we’re defo manoushemaxxing this April.
📍Alserkal Avenue, Al Quoz
📆 Till the end of April.
Support A Small Business with Jumeirah Johns Running Club
Now that you’re all powered up, get your running shoes on; we’re catching up with Jumeirah Johns. Why on Earth are we encouraging exercise, you may ask? Well, for one: you can walk (thank God). And, two, the initiative turned out to be “mates going for a jog,” cool, not “RAH, supplements, steroids, workout sets,” cool, yk? So cool, in fact, they’ve launched a series supporting small businesses.
📍Maiz Tacos, Dubai Hills
📆 April 11, 2026, starting 8pm.
Mihbash Community Get-Together
You’ve gone back home. You’ve showered, done your makeup, and even thrown on a cute outfit. Post-chill sesh, you make your way over to Mihbash, a cult-favourite for a reason, for good vibes, Rólo’s coffee, and charm bar Black Pearl Dubai. What else? Think yummy bites and everything local. We’ll see you there!
📍Mihbash, Jumeirah
📆 April 11, 2026, from 3pm onwards.
CarniVibes Is Calling … 📞
Get in loser, we’re going to CarniVibes Vol. 4. The debrief? Meet Carnistore, a butchery haven serving up all sorts of speciality cuts. They’ve collabed with Chefs Solemann Haddad, Omar Basiony, Naved Nasir, and Robin Höfer to bring a meat lover’s dream full circle, in true pop-up style; we’re talking street-food creations, live music, and a kids activation by Strawberry Fields. Literally the perf dinner to round off the night.
📍Alserkal Avenue, Al Quoz
📆 April 11, 2026, from 4pm to 9pm.
Wind Down at Cinema Akil (and talk to strangers)
If you need a breather from all the bustle, Cinema Akil’s got you covered – for Dhs100, grab your included-in-ticket-price karak and signature delulu popcorn, then watch the day’s movie pick in peace (they said to go in blind). Then? Stick around and talk with strangers (quite literally). It’s also perfect since you’re already at the cultural hub, just saying.
📍Alserkal Avenue, Al Quoz
📆 April 11, 2026, from 5:15pm to 8pm.
Feel the Hype at Kandura Rally 🏎️
If discussion spaces aren’t really your speed, but being a motorhead is, we’ve got just the thing for you. Been waiting to channel your inner Alexandra Leclerc? Now’s your moment, diva. The drifting rally is set to feature absolute machines from beloved classics to sports cars, so we’d say going all out sounds rather fitting 🎀.
📍Dubai Festival City Mall
📆 April 11, 2026, starting from 11am to 11:30pm.
Catch Some Rays at Karen Wazen Beach Club
We get it, you may have planned your weekend to the nines already. But in our opinion, there’s no better way to round off your April weekend than a little waveside rendezvous, courtesy of Karen Wazen Beach Club, of course. The new It spot has got people talking for its exclusive aura and chic sunnies stand alike.
📍BeBabel, Dubai
IYKYK Community Club & Cafe x Christian Louboutin
Speaking of exclusivity, we may have stumbled across the chicest collab to date in the branding genius of IYKYK and sheer luxury of LV. Need we really say more? Inside the tastefully curated world of If You Know, You Know Dubai, fashion meets community. This April weekend, the club’s bringing that same energy to the iconic maison with its fire drinks selection 🔥.
📍Dubai Mall
Come Hangout with (El)Shabab
Okay, secured tanlines? Check. Indulged in a little something-something? Also check. Up next, we take on the bazaar final boss, because you can never shop too much local – it’s just basic girl math ✨. At Shabab Laboratory, you can expect to find cool designers, local artists, skilled makers, and independent initiatives galore. Defo worth passing by!
📍Alserkal Avenue, Al Quoz
