For those of us who love reading, this is like the Oscars of books. The highly anticipated Emirates Airline Festival of Literature, the Middle East’s biggest celebration of authors and writers, is finally back and it’s set to take place from February 4 to February 9 next year.

The festival’s programme is filled with interactive, fun and inspiring sessions that will stimulate your brain and make you fall in love with written and spoken words all over again. We’ll be joined by authors like Young Adult fiction writer Alwyn Hamilton, Egyptian author and critic Tareq Imam, Graeme Simsion, Luke Jennings, and Ziauddin Yousafzai, activist and father of Malala Yousafzai.

There is a diverse range of topics as more than 130 of the world’s greatest writers, novelists and poets will be there, as well as local and international writers of both fiction and non-fiction, and they’ll all come together over the course of 5 days at the InterContinental Hotel, Festival City.
