Get those flip flops on because this Saturday is a beach clean-up and we all need to go. The NYU Abu Dhabi Office of Community Outreach is hosting their Fourth Great Nurdle Hunt! If you don’t know what a nurdle is, they are small plastic pellets that usually end up in the ocean, harming marine life.

It’s a public event for all of us to help clean up the beach on Saadiyat Island Resort. So get your flip flop on and apply some SPF because there will be over 200 volunteers attending the event from schools, associations and the general public (that’s YOU.)

This cool take on a beach clean-up might just inspire you to do your own nurdle hunts at a beach near you. And it could motivate you to reduce your plastic consumption…fabric bags and IN people!

Here are the deets:

Saturday, November 9
8am to 11am
Jumeirah at Saadiyat Island Resort

It’s important to help save the planet. It’s our home, and we share it with other species too so we need to do our part to take care of their homes just as much as our own. So lend a helping hand, your actions count.
