If you think watching the Dancing Fountains at the Dubai Mall is something you’ve done to death and you’re looking for some Date Night inspo to impress your BAE with then, you need to check out Dubai’s latest man-made invention. Nestled in the Al Qudra Lakes, is the sweetest, most romantic bodies of water you’ll ever see. Aptly named the ‘Love Lakes’, are two intertwined heart-shaped lakes, giving us some seriously dreamy lovey-dovey vibes.
It was unveiled by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council for the Dubai Government. Just when we thought these lakes couldn’t get any cuter, they’ve also planted trees around them to spell out the word ‘love’.

When the view’s great, you know the Love Lakes and your S.O, you need to set the right scene for the ultimate date. And, what better than an adorable picnic basket filled with your fav snacks for you two to share. There’s nothing better than sharing your fav food with your fav person.
2. A Mini Bluetooth Speaker
Nothing better than chilling with your S.O, with some mood music playing in the background. So carry your little speaker and set the scene but, make sure you’re not blasting your music and disturbing the other couples around you. 3. Fairy Lights
If you plan on visiting the lakes during the night, it might get a little dark. You don’t want to be stumbling around and tripping each other up on your date, do you?
