Sunday, November 18 will mark the birthday of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), and in honour of this special occasion, public sector employees will get a holiday.
The holiday was expected to fall on Tuesday, November 20 but those who work in the public sector are getting a LONG weekend!

For those of us that don’t speak or read Arabic, the tweet from the UAE Gov goes on to confirm that Sunday will be a holiday instead of Tuesday, and regular work will continue on Monday (sad face).
The holiday for the private sector is yet to be announced, we’ll keep you posted when the exact date is announced.
While we wait, here’s a list of gifs to help all us private sector workers smile a little.
