Blue Marlin Ibiza UAE, the Balearic-themed beach club nestled on the border of Dubai and Abu Dhabi, has taken it upon itself to host a buzzing music festival, to truly welcome the colder season that is almost upon us.
The ‘Burning Beach‘ festival (accurately named), will be bringing the fuego to the region at the end of this month (October 26), with its signature blend of wild antics and creative expression. Think; crazy costumes (previous years have seen party dwellers fashion some serious lewks out of feathers and cowboy outfits, no really), art installations and tons of neon paint and body glitter.
The event will kick off at 1pm and will last until midnight. Some of the acts include DJ Tennis, who will be spinning his signature chilled beats, Portuguese electronic musician Trikk, and Hyenah, who’ll keep the crowd grooving with his deep house beats.
Henry Saiz & Band are also on the bill as are local favourites Frederick Stone, Michka, Aidin Karami and more.
The acts will be split into three stages, with the venue’s spacious, state of the art swimming pools providing a nice break and an opportunity to cool down after all that dancing you’ll be doing.
Sounds great right? It gets better.
The event is completely FREE of charge. That is, if you don’t want to secure a table. If you do, it’s Dhs8,000 for a table for eight. If you want a beach bed, you can nab yours for Dhs3,500.
I suppose all that’s left for you to do is get your outfit ready and invite your friends.
Just remember: the wilder the outfit, the better.
We’ve rounded up a couple of images from previous Burning Beach festivals, you know, to help give you more a visual idea of what to expect.
We. Can. Not. Wait.
