We’re halfway through January and while most of us started strong with our 2024 fitness goals, some of us are struggling to keep up with our workout schedules fr.
If you’re bored of pounding the pavement to the same playlist then you may want to switch up your running playlist and we’re not talking about picking out a random running tracklist on Spotify but choosing songs that are actually effective in boosting workouts.
Did you know that the tempo of songs you listen to whilst exercising can influence our rhythm and motivation? So curating the right playlist is a MUST.
Now, for the scientific part 🤓. The ideal tempo for running would be anywhere between 120-140 BPM (beats per minute) to help keep a steady pace and spirits high. The experts at Mirafit have analysed public Spotify playlists to find which songs people find most motivating when exercising – and shared the songs you NEED to run to.
The study analysed 2,644 Spotify playlists relating to working out in 2024 – and here are the top ten songs.
- I’m Good (Blue), David Guetta.
- Baby Don’t Hurt Me , David Guetta
- Do It To It, ACRAZE
- Move Your Body, Öwnboss
