GG, Mishaal Tamer and LLUNR.
The song title “GG Geena” refers to an acronym which stands for “Good Game,” a phrase commonly used by gamers at the end of a multiplayer online game. The two up-and-coming musicians created a motivational, energetic track whose lyrics roughly translate to, “We’re here to win. Long live the heroes.”
LLUNR is an independent artist and pop sensation based in Jordan. Having amassed worldwide success with his songs Doo Doo Doo (Unplugged) and The World Could End With You, it makes total sense why he’s featured on the official Gamers8 music anthem.
Rising Saudi popstar Mishaal Tamer has amassed a considerable amount of success himself, and most recently, it was announced that he would be joining world-renowned band One Republic on their EU Summer Tour.
More on the Gamers8 official anthem…
The Palestinian-Jordanian national and Saudi superstar travelled all the way to San Francisco to record the official Gamers8 anthem. The track was created in partnership with Spotify and merges English and Arabic both lyrically and sonically. Launched at the opening ceremony of Gamers8 2023 last Friday, GG Geena is predicted to be performed by the duo at some point during the 8-week concert extravaganza.
