30-year-old Zeynab and her man, marketing manager, Mohamad Kanso celebrated their engagement and Katb el-Kitab in the groom’s home country, Lebanon, last month.

“We decided to throw a Katb el-Kitab on Easter 16th April in his home country Lebanon, more for the families and a few close friends that flew in,” the bride told us. “It turned into a mini wedding! We held a religious ceremony at his parents house before it and then went on to celebrate the night at Celcius. Our wedding planners helped us to customise the venue to our desires and now we keep playing it back in our heads, getting more and more excited for the wedding in Barcelona in August.”

When we quizzed her about the dress, she spilled, “I picked [it] up at The Dubai Mall a few days prior to the party and that was chaos!”

The impressive cake was a white peach tower matching the flower decorations and Zeynab’s dress.

The loved-up couple live in Dubai with their little dog Twix, “a little blond bundle of joy to take out on walks,” according to Zeynab.

“We wanted to focus on meaningful ideas such as special quotes while having a very soft peach flower arrangement in line with the big slate and wooden structure of the venue and we had a video booth for everyone to leave us messages.”

As for the guest list? “We had 100 guests, our friends and family reunited from London, Dubai, Turkey and Egypt.”
