This Wednesday, 100% of profits from any lunchtime treats you order between 12pm-4pm from Talabat will be donated to the Beirut relief efforts. Yep, ONE HUNDRED PERCENT OF PROFITS.

Talabat, the region’s leading food delivery app (and prolly our most used app too), has announced the #LunchForLebanon initiative with the CEO, Tomaso Rodriguez, saying that Talabat employees “feel a strong sense of solidarity with the people of Lebanon”.

“I think we have all been affected by the tragedy which unfolded in Beirut, and the outpouring of support from the region has been a testament to that. Many of our employees, customers, and partners are Lebanese and are heavily affected by the situation in Beirut, and our hearts and thoughts are with them and their families. We – not only as Talabat but as individuals – want to make sure that we’re doing everything we can to help.”

Tomaso also encouraged other food retailers to join in the relief efforts, “We are calling on other aggregators in our sector to join us, and make sure that #LunchForLebanon is an initiative right across our industry. Beirut needs us, and this is a time where we need to combine our forces and help our beloved Lebanese people recover from this tragedy’.

You can download the Talabat app from the Google Play Store or IOS App store, although we’re sure you’ll already have it! Happy lunching!
