The weekend is here and the only thing on my mind apart from taking continuous naps, is BRUNCH! At this point, Friday brunching is the only consistent thing in my life and I'll like to keep it that way...at least until the bills come. We've rounded up the best brunch spots that are worth every coin and bite...from great ambiance, to live music and appetizing meals. It's all about the vibe.
1. MasterChef, Millenium Palace Marina
The entire MasterChef experience is amazinng! Now I know why it's called a TV expeience. You really get to utilize your tongue palate. Every bite was different in the best way possible and they just keep them coming (until you yell NO!) and in the end, you realize that you can't seem to get enough. From the cheese tray to the main dish and dessert, the brunch is definitely worth a cheat day.
Info: MasterChef Dubai, Fridays, 12:30 - 4:30, starts from Dhs299, +971 4 550 8111.
2. Ting-Irie, MBR Boulevard Downtown Dubai
I'm so extra that I will totally convince myself that I'm not in Dubai whenever I'm in this resturant. If you fancy Carribean food, this is the place to be! Just imagine going over a selection of classic Carribean flavours while bumping to raggae soundtracks on a full free day - Sounds like a solid plan to me.
Info: Ting-Irie, Fridays, 12:30 - 4:30, starts from Dhs205, +971 4 557 56 01.
3. The Matto Brunch, The Oberoi
Vie del MATTO makes carbs look soo sexy. As usual, there’ll be surely plenty of bread, meat, pizza, pasta, cheese and just a bit more cheese as you eat carbs and enjoy sometime living carefree. I tell you, it's worth all the money.
Info: Via del Matto. Fridays, 12:00 - 4:00, starts from Dhs180, +971 4 444 1335.
4. Joe's Backyard
Joe's Backyard is the ultimate BBQ hangout. It is known for its Notorious Saturday Brunch. Barbecue never tasted so good! Joe’s Backyard welcomes guests to dance the night away as the resident DJ raises the roof playing back to back chart-busting tunes. As usual, guests can look forward to an explosion of flavours from the set menu.

5. Katsuya by Starck. Jumeirah Al Naseem, Umm Suqeim
The Japanese restaurant is a bit more sophisticated than your every day brunch. This brunch is definitely a great choice for lovers of Japanese cuisine. With unlimited choices of buffet and made-to-order options for the brunch, you won’t leave hungry. Trays of sweet treats are also offered around to each table, with interesting Japanese concoctions available to try.
Info: Katsuya, Fridays, 12 - 4pm. starts from Dhs350, https://www.katsuyarestaurant.com/dubai-mall/
