Belcanto Restaurant is the perfect date night
I recently dined at the (relatively) newly opened Belcanto, the oh-so-elevated restaurant at Dubai Opera, followed by a show in the theatre itself – and it really was the best and boujee-est date night.
With Tuscan chef Giacomo Lombardi at the helm, Italian restaurant Belcanto offers a theatrical dose of dramatic dining, opulence, and indulgence as a pre-show meal. The menu features classic Tuscan recipes with a contemporary twist – oh, and did we mention there’s a huge variety of pizzas created by the world champion of Neapolitan Pizza, chef Vincenzo Palermo?

The plush venue boasts sparkling crystal chandeliers and red velvet curtains draped from the ceiling to the floor, taking inspiration from its neighbouring auditorium (where you’ll be heading next). The stage in the middle of the room plays host to musicians, so the sounds of a Baby Grand and live jazz will play you through your meal.
Belcanto opens at 6 pm, so make sure you book in for then and not a second later so you can enjoy the most divine meal before heading downstairs and taking your seats in Dubai Opera.
