After two seasons of The Real Housewives of Dubai, filming has been put on “pause”, as reported by Us Weekly who revealed the news yesterday.
The first international iteration of this US based show, Dubai’s Season 1 first appeared on our screens in June 2022 and season 2 followed in June 2024, running until September.
We don’t know how long this “pause” will last for, but our fingers are crossed for news about the next installment in the near future.
The Real Housewives of Dubai follows the glam lives of several women including Chanel Ayan, Sara Al Madani and Caroline Brooks. Cosmo has heard an exclusive from season 2 babe Taleen Marie.
“We are not cancelled it’s just a break due to some internal issues that are being sorted.” says Taleen.
“Season 2 also took some time to air and there was a long break in between. The fans loved this season and I know the next season will be even better.”
Taleen goes on to confirm her relief to have a break from filming “In all cases it was a great experience and I’m happy to focus on my businesses and family, and some much needed down time during the coming up holiday season!”.
This isn’t the first time the popular Real Housewives franchise has paused filming one of its franchises. In 2013, The Real Housewives of Miami was *cancelled* by Bravo before its successful return to our screens in 2021.
We just hope we don’t have to wait 8 years though 😓. *Cries in reality TV addict*
Whilst we wait, we’ll continue to obsess over the cast of Love is Blind Habibi. Guess who has a new habibi? 🥰
