One of the most difficult scenes to watch for Love Is Blind fans this season was the brutal breakup of Marshall Glaze and Jackelina Bonds. The couple was engaged after connecting in the pods, however, the lovey-dovey moments didn’t last very long. After the split, Glaze reached out to another cast member, Kacia Clark according to his exclusive interview with E! In episode 10 of this season, Bonds initiated the breakup by telling him that she saw Josh that day. The 27-year-old dentist assistant also called Marshall “too emotional” and “too needy” as a partner after which she called it quits. She also made headlines when refusing to return the ring she got during the engagement.

Clark is a family support specialist who didn’t get much air time on the show. According to her Instagram profile, she also serves as a mental health advocate and a youth mentor. And, the key to her heart, as per her intro to the series, is mental stimulation.
Are Marshall Glaze and Kacia Clark still together?
Unfortunately no, it did not work out between the two. The E! News article reveals that Marshall was too hung up on his previous relationship with Jackelina to make this work. “I wanted to just distance myself from all of that, from that experience,” he admitted. “It was going to be difficult to try to make a relationship with Kacia”.
He also said that ending things with Clark was “rough” and further confirmed that he was struggling to get out of this negative headspace. “Still to this day, I’m apologetic about starting something,” Marshall said, “and getting her hopes up with me going back in my shell like ‘This isn’t really the time or the place.'”

But like all bad things, there is a silver lining to this situation too. Even with that heart-wrenching breakup with Jackelina, he was able to draw some positive inspiration.
“I know what I want and I know what I don’t want,” he explained. “And I know what I need, too. I need someone who is very self-aware, someone who has emotional maturity and availability. Someone who knows themselves and knows that they can have bad times and they can have great times, but it’s staying with someone and figuring it out. That’s what makes the relationship so much more sweet.”

[April 17th, 2023] Following the Love is Blind season 4 reunion, Jackie and Josh couldn’t join the rest of the cast, but Vanessa Lachey had previously gone on a Zoom with the couple who are now dating to unpack the drama. Jackie claimed that Marshall ‘wanted the ring back to propose to another castmate’. And I-oop.
Marshall then re-iterated that the ring was a ‘symbol of his love’ which he didn’t think Jackie deserved, but ‘he was never going to propose to her’.
