It’s easy to be a fan girl of Love Island USA Season 6 sassy n’ spirited star, Liv Walker. Lucky for us, we get to see this Aussie beauty back onto our screens this July.
Liv just wrapped up filming Love Island: Beyond the Villa and took a few minutes out of her busy schedule to chat with us. Let’s just say that her personality glows as much as her skin.
Read on to get the deets of her must-have skincare and makeup products (ngl, we were surprised by her simple routines), how she handles online comments, and her fav girlies in the Middle East.
Cosmo ME: What’s your skincare routine like on and off camera?
Liv Walker: I used to be so terrible with my skincare. Honestly, I’d sleep in my makeup every night. I finally figured that simplified routines work best for me so nowadays, that’s what I follow.
I love the Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser Wash and use Paula’s Choice and Neutrogena products too. Every few days, I’ll use salicylic acid to deal with my hormonal acne and breakouts. Once a week, I’ll do a hydrating mask.
Cosmo ME: When you’re on camera, do you switch up your beauty routine?
Liv Walker: Not at all. I keep my skincare routine consistent because if I start introducing new things, it freaks out. I do like to add glow to my skin while filming though.
I love both the Elemis Superfood Glow Priming Moisturizer and Drunk Elephant D-Bronzi Sunshine Drops. They’re perfect when I’m doing a scene in the sun for a no-makeup makeup look.
Cosmo ME: What are your three makeup products that we can count on finding in your makeup bag this summer?
Liv Walker: My MAC Strobe Cream, for sure. A makeup artist once put this on me and it literally makes you look effortless. I’ve even turned so many people on to it.
For mascara, I use Tarte Cosmetics Light, Camera, Lashes 4-in-1 mascara on my bottom lashes because the wand is thinner and precise, and NARS Climax on my top lashes.
I always use the MAC Cosmetics Lip Pencil in Cork along with their Macximal Silky Matte Lipstick in Whirl on my lips. I’m not a gloss girl at all.
Cosmo ME: Have you ever been to Dubai or anywhere in the GCC?
Liv Walker: Not yet, but my cousin and I are dying to go. I love watching Dubai Bling. Safa is my favourite.
I also love Huda Beauty makeup. I swear I have a fairy that keeps refilling my Easy Bake Powder in Cherry Blossom. I’ve been using it for years and it never runs out.

Cosmo ME: With so much attention you get online, how do you stay grounded and real?
Liv Walker: Opening your whole life onto the internet can be hard. I also remind myself that people are only seeing a small part of my life and not the full picture.
My friends keep me grounded. If I get upset about something I see online, they make jokes and help me keep perspective. One hundred people might not like me, but if one loves me, then that’s okay.
Cosmo ME: Are there any comments that have stuck with you?
Liv Walker: I kind of dissociate myself a little bit when I post and stay off my phone, avoiding the comments. My parents raised me to know who I am and be confident in myself.
I still see them though and some of the comments are very funny. I’m like, okay, you got me there. I had lots of comments about when my extensions were showing. I get why people would hate. We were sitting in a villa by a pool getting paid.
Cosmo ME: You’ve been called the big sister on the show. Where does your emotional maturity come from?
Liv Walker: My parents raised me to not be selfish and help others out no matter what. I want people to feel seen and know that I support them. I’d rather stand with one person alone than be the follower of the group.
I love putting other people before me. I will literally give you the last 20 dollars I have if that’s what you need. I have a lot of older friends too and it gives me an appreciation of learning from what they’ve been through.

Cosmo ME: What’s next for you?
Liv Walker: I’m moving to LA and exploring different avenues. I love beauty, makeup, hair, and skincare. I have a lot of exciting opportunities coming up and I’m still figuring out what feels most true to me. I want to stay in this space and create something meaningful.
