When things were just starting off, everyone thought that they were in Love Overboard (LOL) and no one knew that it was actually Too Hot To Handle season 5. They were enjoying themselves and ready to ~explore~ options. Elys had her eye on two equally charming lads, Alex and Hunter, who, lucky for the blondie, were both interested in her too.
Alex didn’t waste ANY time and started a convo the minute Elys was left alone. They shared some laughs and sweet moments and the British Prince Charming left to have fun on his own, this time, on an inflatable pink flamingo. 🦩
Little did he know that this little distraction could hurt his chances with the gorgeous ski instructor Hunter was already making his way to.

Hunter asked if Elys would like to share a bed with him that night. The answer was yes, of course. Our real-life Prince Charming hoped the two weren’t serious. But they were, at the moment, at least. Alex then moved on to another contestant, Megan, which sparked Elys’ interest in Alex again. You want what you can’t have, right?
At the same time, Alex made Megan believe that he was genuinely interested in her, even though he thought about Elys all the time. And Elys did, too. Convos with Hunter weren’t the same as with Alex, and she was jealous seeing him with Megan. Lana was there to help them make a decision 🤝.

She sent Elys and Hunter on a date so they could build a strong connection. But it didn’t work as Elys felt awkward. That’s why Lana asked if she wanted Alex to come instead. In the middle of the date. Yeah. She jumped at the opportunity, surprisingly for Alex, who agreed to come and see Elys.
Courtney (FYI, another contestant of Too Hot To Handle season 5) shared the news with Megan, and it brought her to tears 😢. She said that this exact thing happens to her all the time. Between two people, she’s the one who never gets chosen. We feel for her.

Who did Elys choose in Too Hot To Handle season 5?
When Elys and Alex came back, they announced that they wanted to share a bed and made poor Megan cry again. That’s when everything changed. Elys and Alex stuck to each other up till the final episode of Too Hot To Handle season 5. Even a new arrival Bryce who looked like Channing Tatum (!!) didn’t manage to steal the blondie’s heart.
Spoiler alert ❗❗ Elys became the winner of the show and won $100,000. But being the angel she is, Elys decided to split the prize with another contestant.
Also, if you are wondering if Elys and Alex are still dating after Too Hot To Handle season 5, it’s a sad no. They did date for half a year after the show but decided to end things as friends. Ouch.
