It’s a no-brainer that shopping when you’re curvy can get ~difficult~. Tops that pinch in the wrong places, jeans that feel uncomfortable, and dresses that clump or pull in the wrong way completely ruining the *vision* that you had for your outfit. It’s also (obviously) a no-brainer that all fashion brands should be size-inclusive, however, that’s not always the case.

The fashion industry has come far regarding size inclusivity, but it still has ways to go – ostracising many women who are sizes 16 and above. Cosmo ME spoke to curve influencers from around the world, and from here at home in the Middle East, to ask them for their best recommendations on fashion brands that they personally love.

So if you’re getting ready to spend your savings this Black Friday for some new ‘fits, then check out what these gorg (and super stylish) ladies have to say about their fave brands…

Ifeoma Amadi | @siainstyle

On three size-inclusive brands that Ifeoma recommends…

“I’d absolutely recommend @kaicollective as most of their pieces go up to a 3XL and their pieces will always have you feeling sexy no matter your size. I’d also recommend these two Nigerian brands @desireeiyamathelabel and @betho.official as they are ethical ready-to-wear brands that make quality easy to wear and style made-to-measure pieces.”

Ameni Esseibi | @ameniesseibi

On three size-inclusive brands that Ameni recommends…

“PLT, FashionNova, Kiabi, and 11 Honoré

This Dubai-based Tunisian model feels that these brands give her “access to all sort of styles from street style and loungewear to pieces that are more fancy and elegant.” And more importantly, their clothes are “super comfortable.”

Laura Leonide | @iamleonide

On size-inclusive brands that Laura recommends…

“There are quite a lot of great curve-focused brands such as Lane Bryant, Fashion to Figure, 11 Honoré. But if you’re looking for inclusive brands that offer a wide range of sizes up to the size 20-26UK, I would say, Lavish Alice, Fashion Brand Company, and Reformation.”

Not forgetting to give love to regional inclusive designers, Laura says that “Dima Ayad and Mrs. Keepa are your go-to!”

These brands suit Laura’s style which is “classy, bold and sometimes edgy.” What’s even better is that Fashion Brand Company and Reformation are “eco-friendly” which helps her on her mission to “change my consumption behavior.”

Rebecca Louisy | @rebeccalouisy

On three size-inclusive brands that Rebecca recommends…

Mirror Palais is super girly and a little risqué! The perfect combination of my style. Kai Collective is beautiful and colourful, it makes you feel like a rich auntie (perfect for holiday pics.) And Savage Fenty as it has so many different styles, so that’s perfect if like me you’re indecisive.”
