Puma’s first return to New York Fashion Week since 2017 was one for the books. The footwear and apparel giant held its show last night and unveiled two new sneakers that were designed digitally before they were made into products. The likes of Brooklyn Beckham were in attendance, Skepta as the main performer, and none other than Winnie Harlow, Usain Bolt, Davido, and more walked the runway.

Here’s everything you need to know about Puma’s FUTROGRADE…
This immersive runway show brought the past, present, and future of the brand, as well as launching ‘Black Station’. The dynamic destination connects Puma’s consumers to web activations, and is their new portal for all things fashion, sport performance, and the brand’s heritage classics. At ‘Black Station’ exclusive never-seen-before Nitro NFRNO and Nitro Fastroid sneakers linked to PUMA’s recent NFT Nitropass mint have also been unveiled.
Those who minted a Nitropass can receive two NFTs – one tied to physical products and one that unlocks a customized experience linked to their chosen shoe.

NFT’s, also known as non-fungible tokens, are a major first for Puma, especially when linking digital designs to in-real-life physical products for consumers. With “sport is art” being their inspiration, the Fastroid and NFRNO are a hybrid for the brand’s previous designs, but latest inspiration.
Visitors can enter the ‘Black Station’ experience at blackstation.puma.com. A limited quantity of NFTs and subsequently exclusive sneakers exist, and you can even visit their Discord page to learn more.
