The stars have arrived in Cannes, in the South of France, to serve haute-couture realness, and define culture.

All our favourite influencers, celebs, and pop culture idols made their grand entrance on the red carpet at The Cannes Film Festival, but which regional designers served the fiercest looks?

Legendary Lebanese designers are stealing the show at Cannes. Let’s breakdown the designers who ate, and left no crumbs.

These ladies led with trail-blazing, dramatic gowns. Alessandra Ambrosio floated in this glowing green gown, while the magnificent Maria Borges rocked red, both clad in Zuhair Murad’s acclaimed Lebanese design.

Isabeli Fontana was draped in an embellished champagne gown by acclaimed Lebanese designer Nicolas Jebran. In our main character era, it’s next-level drama or nothing, and we’re living for the trail for days and embellished details.

There was no shortage of frill, fluff, and flounce; our favourite style elements that serve a soft girl aesthetic. Our favourite Egyptian actress Amina Khalil, served soft girl elegance, in a lightly rose-coloured gown from luxury Lebanese designer, Rami Kadi.

Elie Saab

Heidi Klum is known to steal the show, and this was no exception. Elie Saab designed this full-bloom effect gown, which was an absolute fashion goal. The Lebanese designer worked with her to absolutely steal the show.

Tony Ward

Paola Turani was dressed by Tony Ward Couture. “The soft blend of a crocheted blazer placed gently against the train of the billowy blue skirt and then juxtaposed against the
rich red of the French festival carpet made her a feminine force to be reckoned with a left a hard trail to follow,” shares Dominique. And we’re left, absolutely gagged.
