London Fashion week just ended, but Paris and Milan are still to come – woohoo!

Eva Chen, head of fashion partnerships at Instagram, shares the hashtags to look out for during fashion month:

#runwayforall:

This is a series featuring models who are redefining industry standards and making sure there’s room on the #RunwayForAll.

“#RunwayForAll means we all have beauty in us,” says Benjamin Ryan Melzer (@egoshooter), who lives in Germany. “People told me I couldn’t model,” he says. “I’m not talented. I’m not tall enough. I’m not good at telling stories through pictures. Today, I’m proof they were wrong.” Benjamin was named Yvonne when he was born. During his transition from female to male, he asked his parents what they would have named him if he was born a boy. “My mother said Benjamin, and my father said Ryan,” he says. “So they chose my new name.” About a year and a half ago, Benjamin flew to London for his first photo shoot. “The moment I stood in front of the camera I wasn’t nervous anymore,” he says. “It felt like home for me.” This story is part of an ongoing series featuring models who are redefining industry standards and making sure there’s room on the #RunwayForAll. #fashionillustrated:

Expect stories of artists from around the world who are using their imaginations to bring style to life.

Every time illustrator Alessandra Genualdo (@agenualdo) takes her English setter for a walk at home in London, she collects twigs, sprigs, pine needles and wildflowers along the way. “I always need to be surrounded by something that I find inspiring and comforting,” says Alessandra. The ritual offers a fresh perspective to her work. “The characters in my illustrations are always connected with nature in some way, either by wearing floral patterns or by having some greenery in the background.” On Monday, Alessandra illustrated the Erdem (@erdemlondon) fashion show during London Fashion Week. “I love the element of nostalgia in Erdem’s pieces, and of course the beautiful floral patterns,” she says. “They translate perfectly into an illustration or a painting.” This story is part of our new series #FashionIllustrated, stories of artists from around the world who are using their imaginations to bring style to life. #tinycanvas:

Beauty addicts, you’ll love this. It’s a series that celebrates nail artists and the miniature works of art they create.

#triplegram:

This is a series of three photos that designers use to create a visual narrative on their feed… Like documenting the making of a dress in three steps or building anticipation before a show using tiled photos that culminate into a single stunning image. @jacquemus is great at this.

#runwayinmotion:

This hashtag is as a home to all of the amazing video content that will be coming out of fashion month.

Pause. And take in every last wind swept detail. #TommyFall16 #NYFW #RunwayInMotion #GigiHadid
