We first heard about the Nike Pro hijab back in March, but we have finally got a first look at the modest sportswear, as it took centre stage on the runway of Saudi designer Mashael Al Rajhi’s Fashion Forward show.
The product, which will be available to buy in December this year, was showcased as part of Mashael Al Rajhi’s collection. Of the collaboration, the Riyadh-based designer said, “The Nike Pro Hijab is the perfect extension for my collection, as it symbolizes femininity and independence – values that I believe are more essential than ever for women today. You’ll see that I chose to style the collection with my personal favourite, the iconic streetwear classic, The Nike Air Force 1. Its white, its bold and its timeless.”
