Dubai is known to break many records like ‘tallest building in the world’, ‘biggest picture frame’…you know, the usual. So here’s another one.

So, in 2017, British designer Debbie Wingham created a pair of shoes with rare large pink and blue diamonds, four flawless three-carat white diamonds and 1,000 pointer diamonds. (She got her sparkle on!) That year, it broke the World record for most expensive shoes created at a jaw dropping price of Dhs56 Million. (Let that sink in. For a pair of shoes, Dhs56 Million. WOW!)

Been such a blast throughtout the process of creating the world's most expensive shoe with the fabulous @shoebakery not only does my client love the shoe but I get the chance to help change another creative's life Chris Campbell from shoe bakery. An artist with bags of talent and creativity. Creating a world's most expensive will raise your profile and open doors, many forget that I'm just a girl from a council estate, a girl with sheer determination and decades of blood sweat and tears got to where I am today. My future is in helping the next generation of creative's hence why I set up future of fashion academy @futureoffashion_academy now branching out internationally and not just working with kids but also emerging talent. Our future artists and designers are every day people like me and you we come from all back grounds, we are all nationalities and genders. #nextgenerationofcreatives #futureoffashion_academy #worldsmostexpensive #inspire #powerfulcreatives #artists #fashiondesigners #emergingtalent

And now, *walks in* Italian Designer Antonio Vietri is nowset to beat with his Moon Star Shoes. It’s made of solid gold, 30 carats of diamonds and just to top it off – a piece of meteorite from Argentina that was found in 1576. These gorgeous, sparkly heels are worth *wait for it…* Dhs73 Million. (Did your eyes water a bit too?)

The heels were designed as tribute to the Burj Khalifa; taking the building’s exquisite shape. They were revealed for the first time at MIDE (Made in Italy, Designed in Emirates) Fashion Week in Dubai and they are absolutely stunning!

It’s safe to say that this city never fails to amaze us! Am I right?
