Wedding dresses are all the same, right? They’re long, usually ivory or white and come in a variety of fishtail, princess and A-line shapes – and you’ll probably never wear them again. It’s sad, but for some reason we still are OK with splashing thousands of Dirhams on a gown that we’ve probably seen in some similar form at lots of other weddings.

But what if you could buy a wedding dress that you could wear again and you could guarantee none of your friends have worn? Sure, you might have to start attending red carpet events or black tie galas on the regs, but that’s feasible, right?

A debut bridal collection by Los Angeles designer Maria Korovilas brought to our attention by Who What Wear has us all a flutter thanks to its all-round dreamy and not-at-all ‘traditional bridal’ nature.

Just check out the pale lilac colour, 3D floral embroidery and beautifully scalloped neckline on this beauty…
