Dust off your berets and your gondola-striped blouse, because Emily in Paris is back and this time she’s trading croissants for cannoli. Yes, Emily Cooper (played by the ever-chic Lily Collins) is switching things up in Italy for Season 5, and Netflix just confirmed the series will be released in December. Perfect timing to cozy up with a glass of hot tea and pretend you’re on a Roman holiday.

This season, Emily is doing more than snapping selfies by the Eiffel Tower. She’s navigating the canals of Venice and, ofc, juggling the messiest situationships in all of Europe. Creator Darren Star teased that it’s a full-on ā€œTale of Two Cities,ā€ with Emily straddling Paris and Rome (Julius Caesar who?).

What’s the vibe this season?

Emily is now the head of Agence Grateau Rome (no recession-core vibes here), but naturallyĀ la dolce vitaĀ doesn’t come without drama. Just when things seem to be falling into place romantically and professionally, one of her big ideas backfires. Cue heartbreak, career sabotage, and obviously, major gelato therapy.

The cast (and the chaos)

Of course, your faves are back. Lily Collins returns as Emily, alongside her squad: Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu as Sylvie delivering her signature razor-sharp side-eye, Ashley Park as Mindy bringing the musical magic, and Lucas Bravo as Gabriel being, well, Gabriel. Lucien Laviscount is also back as Alfie (we know you’re already picking sides), plus new faces like Eugenio Franceschini and Minnie Driver (!!) promise fresh chaos with a side of Aperol.

When is it being released in the UAE?

Emily in Paris Season 5 drops on December 18, 2025 in the UAE. That’s 10 new episodes of romance, chaos, and couture to binge over the holidays. Consider it your official excuse to ignore relatives and immerse yourself in Emily’s latest round of career blunders and love triangles (or squares? We’d revise our geometry).

So whether you’re Team Gabriel, Team Alfie, or simply Team Emily, get ready. Season 5 is serving heartbreak, haute couture, and espresso-fueled drama a la carte.

Stream it on Netflix, December 18th. Don’t say we didn’t warn you when your group chat blows up begging for the next girls’ trip.
