Abu Dhabi just got a little wilder. PRNTCODE is the UAE-based textile studio turning heads (and wardrobes) with its debut collection, The Jungle Edit. Founded by Emirati artist and designer Hessa Alsuwaidi, this Summer 2025 capsule is a visual exploration of
growth, memory, and creative reckoning.
Inspired by Hessa’s years living in the U.S. and her own path of self-discovery, The Jungle Edit unfolds as a story told entirely through print because for Hessa, print is everything. The collection spans six original prints across limited-edition garments, interiors, and textile objects, each available in dynamic colourways. From the encrypted confidence of the coded cheetah print to the lyrical delicacy of the butterfly motif, every piece celebrates transformation.

“The jungle, for me, became a metaphor for inner wilderness – vibrant, beautiful, and alive,” says Hessa. “This collection is about shedding and rooting, confronting and blooming. It’s not just about escape; it’s about return – to instinct, to identity and to self.”
Hessa’s perspective is as global as it is personal. A Parsons MFA graduate and former colour designer at Nike World Headquarters, she blends handcraft with technology, childhood with contemporary, and culture with raw emotion. With The Jungle Edit, Hessa invites us to step into that vibrant wilderness of instinct, identity, and return.
