We love loveee Mai Vault here at Cosmo HQ. She’s a comedian, a loving mother, a darn strong fighter and now, even an actress!
The OG among OG’s of TIkTok, Mai, and her viral sensation of a mom, Mama Wafaa, have officially made their acting debut (despite just them being completely themselves) at one of the highly acclaimed Ramadan-released shows, 80 Bako.
Egyptian actress Huda El Mufti, Entsar, Rahma Ahmed Farag, and others star in the show about a young, talented hairdresser who faces financial difficulties but has to earn 80,000 pounds to get married.
To do so, Huda, who plays Bousy, takes on a private clientele list of individuals, taking her to a whole new world. And this is where your favourite TikTok, Mai, comes in.
Since releasing her story late last year that she’s been battling breast cancer, the TikToker, who has received much more love, made a special appearance to support all the cancer fighters on the Egypitan-based show.
The touching scene shows Mai looking for the perfect wig. Naturally, the star took to Instagram and TikTok to share their heartfelt appearance on the show.
“This episode was dedicated to all the strong women, especially the cancer survivors,” Mai said on the TikTok.
The show just released the tear-jerking episode, and fans of 80 Bako and the star immediately rushed to support the queen.
While it’s not a secret that Mai is a legend and icon, her debut on Egypt’s top-rated series shows how much her impact goes above and beyond.
Mabrook Mai and Mama Wafaa!
