Alert the group chat as British-Lebanese rapper Laughta is performing in Dubai on Wednesday March 6 as part of streaming platform Apple’s celebration in Dubai Mall in honour of International Women’s Day.

Often in Saudi, she is known for her collabos that seamlessly connect cultures and genres and even had a residency at the Saudi Music Hub, where she worked with up-and-coming Saudi-based musicians, from hip-hop artists to producers, for songs and live performances as part of the initiative, organised by the Saudi Music Commission.

Self-taught in music production, she is one talented chick. In 2023 she became the first woman to secure a weekly music producer residency with Serato

She’s *all* about championing women to venture into music production which has led her to conduct producer masterclasses in partnership with Roland at Metropolis studio, along with collaborations with LCCM, Family in Music, Women in CTRL.

Since blowing up she has made waves with radio support, especially in the UK, and has featured on BBC Introducing, BBC 1Xtra, BBC Radio London and Kiss Fresh and hosts her show The Laughta Gas Show on London’s Reprezent 107.3FM.
