Cosmo ME: Can you give us a quick rundown of the personality traits of each sign?
Michele Knight: A quick rundown, yes, but remember that people are much more than only their sun sign. Aries are bold, heroic, and enthusiastic. Taurus are known to be very loyal, stubborn, and sensual. Geminis are hilarious, changeable, and quick-witted. Cancers are nurturing, caring, and can go into their shell when they’re hurt. Leos are bold, brazen, and generous of spirit. Virgos are clever, articulate, detail-oriented, and have a great sense of humor. Libras are fair, love harmony and balance, can bring love into situation, and are feisty and argumentative if in a state of unbalance.
Scorpios live up to their hype, are powerful, and can survive anything, sensitive, but they need to learn to trust. Sagittarius are free spirits, warriors of love, and explorers. Capricorns are diligent, dream and goal-oriented, and achievers. Aquarians are humanitarians, trend forecasters, smart, and inventive. Pisces are sensitive, spiritual, and empathic, but can get lost in illusion and delusion.
Which zodiac signs make the best matches? Which signs are the worst matches?
MK: There are traditional matches but I don’t personally believe in matching them. It depends on so much more, like which houses their moon, Mercury, and Venus are in. It’s essential to look at the entire astrology chart, like we do in Written In The Stars, to figure out what is the best and worst matches for a particular person.
C: Which sign falls in love the easiest? Who is the most reluctant in love?
MK: Those with a lot of Pisces in their astrology charts will fall in love easily. It’s because they can easily merge with another person and can feel everything going on with them The most reluctant sign to fall in love is Capricorn. It’s because they’re too busy. When a person has a lot of Capricorn in their chart, they want to make sure it’s a right time investment for them. Capricorns want to make sure the relationship is something they can build on.
C: What exactly is an astrological chart?
MK: The astrology chart pinpoints the exact map of the sky at the time a person was born using their birthdate, birth location, and time of birth. The position of the planets on your chart are like the orchestra of your personality. The moon is how you are emotionally, Mercury is how you communicate, and Venus is how you love. Just like in Written In The Stars, we want you to think of it as a treasure map. It’s the syllabus of our life’s journey as well and can indicate some of the lessons we experience and the things that make us grow.

C: What do you look for when matching astrological charts?
MK: In Written In The Stars, we look at how all the planets and houses align. The moon and Venus are both important but my favorite things to look at are the North and South nodes. Your North node is your destiny, how you’re growing and what you’re going towards. It shows the deep meaning of the soul.
C: How can you tell if there is a karmic connection between two people?
MK: Compare the two charts. Go to where the North node is and look at the connections. I have two free ones on my website. You can access them here.
C: Which sign is the most flirty? Hard to date?
MK: Geminis are the most flirty but to be honest, no sign is hard to date. That’s the beauty of astrology. It’s more about understanding the other person. An Aquarian might not be bothered if they’re dating a flirty person, but a Pisces might take it really personally. The joy of Written In The Stars is that it’s not superficial. Instead, it teaches people about astrology charts and how to be conscious of one another.
C: What was it like pairing couples on Written In the Stars? Did anything surprise you about the process?
MK: The Written In The Stars journey was stressful, thrilling, and inspirational. We went through hundreds of astrology charts and put them together. Sometimes we came across such a lovely chart that we would do a lot of research to find a chart compatible with it. The show is a rollercoaster. It’s exciting, it has moments of laughter, and it’s warmhearted. With the way people date these days, it gives a moment of pause and brings people back together.
