Following yesterday’s news about Amy Roko being fired by Netflix, our former cover star has responded with a “no comment”. The 29-year-old Saudi influencer was allegedly cast for the second season of the series Dubai Bling which follows the daily lives of millionaires living in the city against a luxury lifestyle.
The fallout reportedly happened to disagreement in the storyline for Roko’s role. This involved dating which she was uncomfortable with. “I know who I am and what my values are,” Amy said, “I’m an Arab and evil eye is real! All I’ll say is stay tuned because bigger and better is just around the corner!” she added.

According to an Arabian Business source, “she got an email saying that Netflix didn’t feel she was the right fit for the storyboard so they wouldn’t be continuing with her”
However, this is not the first time the influencer has been let go of. In her interview with Cosmo ME in 2022, the influencer stated her dream of being on TV and how a producer cancelled on her because of her face covering, “He told my mum that pretty girls don’t cover up, and she subsequently had to tell me that I couldn’t go on TV. Now I have amassed this huge social media following, it’s like a big F you to that producer.”
