SPOILER ALERT: Spoilers for Game Of Thrones season 8, episode 4 ahead…

If you’ve seen the latest episode of Game Of Thrones (which you should have – I mean what better things have you been doing? Going to work? Seeing family and friends? Don’t be ridiculous…), then you may have noticed something a little fishy during the celebration feast scene.

Remember how there was a really crummy battle with the White Walkers last week? Well, Daenerys, Jon Snow, Arya and the rest of that gang decided to celebrate their triumph (not sure it felt like a triumph to Theon, Jorah and Lyanna, but we mustn’t dwell) with a few drinks.

And basically a bunch of viewers spotted what looks A LOT like a Starbucks cup in front of her on the banquet table about 17 minutes into the fourth episode of season 8.

HBO has now responded to Daenerys’ apparent Caramel Soy Latte in the most amazing way possible.

In a press release, the channel said: “The latte that appeared in the episode was a mistake. Daenerys had ordered a herbal tea.”

Erm, incredible. 

Elaborating on the error in an email to Variety, art director Hauke Richter added: “Things can get forgotten on set. [The coffee cup error has been] so blown out of proportion [because] it has not happened with Thrones’ so far.”

Sounds like someone could use a soothing cup of camomile tea…
