Last week the Government Games 2.O made a comeback for the second year, and we totally loved watching it unfold. It followed the success of last year’s first ever government games, initiated by HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Crown Prince of Dubai , and it’s safe to say the women teams totally smashed it.Â
‘One Team. One Spirit’ was the theme, and 168 teams competed for the top prize (winners took home Dhs1million each, so it was well worth getting out of bed for).Â
Throughout the four days of gruelling obstacles (we’re talking four metre ninja walls to zip lines) the ladies of F3 came in first place overall and each walked away the uh-mazing prize money.Â
Overall, both Sheikh Hamdans F3 men’s and women’s team came in first place in this year’s Gov Games. The men finished the final obstacle the ‘Battleship’ within 24 minutes, while the women finished it within 22 minutes *whoop whoop*.
His royal excellency Sheikh Hamdan took to Twitter and congratulated his team on winning the Gov Games 2.O:

Seriously girls (and guys), well done. You did us proud!Â
