The Duke of Cambridge may well have accidentally revealed the gender of his third child.
On Tuesday night (April 10), while celebrating his football team Aston Villa's big win against rivals Cardiff City, The Mirror reports that Prince William said he wanted to name his newborn after Jack Grealish, following the footballer's late goal for the team.
"I'm going to insist the baby is called Jack," he told fans, before hastily adding: "Or Jackie."
Of course, this could be a meaningless comment – it was previously reported that the couple have chosen not to find out whether they're having a boy or girl, a decision they've stuck to throughout Kate's other two pregnancies with George and Charlotte.
OR... it could be a telling slip-up about the future prince/princess.
We'll obvs just have to wait and see whether the new royal baby is a boy or girl, but it looks like Wills may be unlikely to call his third child Jack (or any variation of Jack) as recent bookies odds have put Alice as the female frontrunner and Albert or Arthur as the favourite if the baby is a boy.
Kensington Palace has confirmed that the Duke and Duchess' third child is due in April, although Kate's exact due date is not known rn.
