ASOS is Selling Strap-On Dinosaur Tails and No One Knows Why

We love ASOS. Whenever we hear about a brand new trend, we can pretty much guarantee that they'll stock an item that helps us nail it within a few hours. But we must confess that we're a bit confused by the latest look they're pushing, as our favourite Sunday-night-in site is now stocking a strap-on dinosaur tail.

We kid you not. The items is called the Tell Tails Dinosaur Tail, and ASOS is selling it under the festival accessories section, with the usual floral crowns and chokers. It's kind of huge and shiny, and you strap it to your waist so it sticks right out of your bum. It also costs Dhs125, which we guess is reasonable for an item so... rare. 

Still, while we're kind of baffled by the whole strap-on dinosaur tail trend, the item is currently sold out on ASOS. So we guess they got it right. If anything, it's given us plenty of entertainment on our Twitter feeds, where users have been posting their own thoughts on the look. Cue some bemusement.

It's not the first time that ASOS has left consumers confused of late, after they sent out hilariously long pairs of jeans, and created the most bizarre piece of lingerie. That said, it's pretty much our favourite place for stocking up on holiday/wedding/everything clothes, so maybe we'll all be wearing dinosaur tails sooner or later.
