Dubai-based, Filipino designer, Michael Cinco, is fast becoming the A-list’s go-to guy for a simply stunning, couture gown. Although he’s created pieces for the likes of Jennifer Lopez, Aishwarya Rai and Lady Gaga, he still seems to firmly put family first. That was particularly clear this weekend, when he posted this stunning snap of his niece’s wedding and her breath-taking dress…Â

Just last week he opened up to In Magazine about what inspires him to design haute couture, ball gowns and wedding dresses…Â
“I envisioned… when I was a kid, that one of these days, I would love to see those Hollywood celebrities in the red carpet wearing my dresses,” Cinco told filmmaker, Elie Fahed. “I always envision women attending a ball in a palace. And then, when they enter, everyone will stop, and she is the only one who is walking into the ballroom, and everyone will just be mesmerized.”Â
“I always love to give drama to the women, and they have to stand out,” he went on to say. “They have to be the Belle of the ball!”Â
When quizzed about why he moved to Dubai, he revealed, “After studying fashion design, I trained with one of the best fashion designers in the Philippines and then I got an offer to work in the Middle East as a fashion designer… It was a big leap for my career.” Adding, “I decided that this is the place for me, because most women here, they wear a lot of haute couture outfits, fairy tale dresses [and] ball gowns”Â
